August 11, 2012
As part of our new mission to make the site more fan interactive we’ve decided to bring back 5 questions with the staff where Katie and I answer 5 questions regarding ourselves or John Cena. This week we answer what our favorite quote is, who are top 5 wrestlers are, our favorite John Cena moment, how long we’ve been watching WWE, and if we’ve ever met the man himself, John Cena. If you would like to send in a question email us at Katie@J-Cena.com or Dana@J-Cena.com, or feel free to leave us a TWEET.
What is your favourite quote?
Katie: “Your true passion should feel like breathing; it’s that natural.”
Dana: “Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.” – Buddha
Who are your top 5 favourite WWE Divas or Superstars?
Katie: John Cena, Justin Gabriel, Randy Orton, Sheamus and Natalya
Dana: John Cena, Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler, AJ, Triple H
What is your favourite John Cena moment?
Katie: My favourite John Cena moment is when he debuted on WWE SmackDown! against Kurt Angle on June 27th,2002. I knew in an instant that he was destined to be a WWE Superstar.
Dana: Mine would have to be May 10, 2005 Wrestlemania 21 when John Cena beat JBL to gain his first WWE Championship.
How long have you been watching WWE?
Katie: I have been watching WWE on-and-off for 21 years. I was three-years-old when my grandfather introduced me to it. I couldn’t pry myself away from the television since then. I’m proud to call myself a true WWE fan.
Dana: I’ve been watching WWE since before I can remember. My dad watched it and would always make me watch it with him, it became a family thing and has stuck with me until now.
Have you ever met John Cena?
Katie: I had the privledge of meeting John Cena on two occasions. The first time was at a private meet-and-greet in my hometown of London, Ontario. I was blown away by his sweetness and his attraction. The second time I met him was this year at WrestleManiaAxxess. My mom just had knee surgery, so we were very lucky to spend a few extra minutes with him, whereas people in line were rushed through. He was very pleasant to my mom and I and I had the honour of taking a few pictures with him. If I could sum up my experiences in one word, it would have to be HONOURED.
Dana: I met John Cena briefly when he came to the Washington DC Auto show years back. I waited in line for hours along with many other people and was completely awe-struck when I finally had the opportunity to meet John. He was very sweet and gave me a hug after I took a picture with him. I’ll never forget that moment.
